My laboratory is doing biomedical engineering research to understand and help manage and treat respiratory disease. We develop new tools to measure airway cell biomechanics and behaviour for asthma research, and develop new medical devices for measurement of lung disease in patients with asthma or COPD, and we develop models that integrate lung function measurement with novel MRI imaging data.
